Recently discovering that more people were educated in Punjab in 1809, in the time of Maharaja Ranjit Singh, then during 2022 witnessing the farmers of Punjab in the middle of the biggest and longest protest in history, a woman who dreams of restoring the greatness of her ancestor’s home village makes a journey back to the land of her fondest childhood memories, having now reached retirement.
